Barbara Ransby has lectured widely, moderated or participated in numerous forums and panels, and delivered keynote addresses throughout the country. Her topics include the subjects of her research on Black women intellectuals and activists, social movements, and specifically, Ella Baker’s grassroots organizing tradition and its links to the larger Black Freedom Movement, and Eslanda Robeson’s career as a writer, anthropologist and international anti-colonial activist.
